And then I am going to ask you to do that -- to build the foundation of a business.
And it's not going to be my business idea, it is going to be yours. 100% from you.

It is not.
I will help you every step of the way, just like I have helped many others. You just have to get all the other nonsense out of the way and execute.
And that's something I'm very good at helping people do.
It might turn into a full time effort, a part time effort, or a side gig of sorts, but all I need from you to make this happen is an hour for our weekly class, an hour to read the reading I send you, and three hours to do the work I ask you to do.
In five hours a week, less than 45 minutes a day, I can help change the direction of your life -- not by sharing any earth shattering ideas with you (though I have a few), but by asking you to do the absolute key things needed to succeed and to then hold you accountable for making that happen.
I am going to show you how to find awesome business ideas everywhere you look -- I probably have 30 a day some days, and you can too, because the world is full of problems that need solving. You just need to know what to look for.
I won't stop there. I will show you how to focus that brilliant creative energy in a way that is of benefit to others, because no one is helped by excitement that you can't control.
Nor will we stop there. You and I will build a business. It will be your business, not mine. I will just be the person doing some of the hand holding along the way.
And we won't stop there also.
I love class. I love learning. I love books. But sometimes, the book just needs to be put down and life needs to be embraced. You just need to act.
The only way this works is by action.
So, after we have your business built (which will happen by week 4), we will get you to your first sale, (which will happen by week 10).
I am committing to have you sell your first item by the tenth week of class, though some will do that even sooner.
To get you there, we will need some standards and some accountability around those standards.
This isn't for the faint of heart -- Don't do the homework 24 hours in advance and post it for all in the community to see, and you will be flunked right there on the spot, dropped from the class. No excuses.
Why is that?
Is it because I want to be a jerk?
It is because I want you to be accountable. That's the only way this works. Give me ten weeks of accountability and you will have a money generating business by week ten.
Now for the kicker. This is the best thing of the whole class that I can give you. It is mindset.
Hopefully you don't suffer from this, but just in case, here we go -- Whatever retarded social justice warrior idea you have been fed about the only way to help the world being to volunteer your time and live some kind of mendicant substandard existence is going to be disabused in you.
Guilt about making money can have no place in this class.

Am I trying to blend money with doing good in some kind of feel-good new age social movement? That would be crazy talk.
All I am doing is speaking basic economics right now and speaking them clearly. The proof that you helped someone in a marketplace is that person giving you enough money that you are able to earn a profit.
That's how it has always been.
That's how it has always worked. There is just so much smoke and mirrors these days that most people miss it and then because of that, they miss how to really help others.

This is what will be needed from you:
- 1 hour of class a week -- based on your schedule, since the class is recorded, but of course attending the live class is going to be way better
- 1 hour of reading a week -- It is reading that I specifically chose and that I return to over and again, project after project, year after year to remind myself of the basics. If I need to be reading this stuff, I promise you need to as well. And even if you hate reading, this is going to be the kind of stuff you enjoy reading, because it's not a waste of time. It just makes you better.
- 3 hours of action a week -- Most people will need even less time than this. It just depends how natural you are at this kind of stuff. I'm not too much of a natural. I'm a slow learner personally, but once I learn something, I become really, really good at it. You might be like me, and I hope you are. It will be one hour of work a week for some, three hours for others. That's just how life makes some of us.
On top of that, you are going to meet some awesome people doing awesome stuff -- and you're probably going to meet them on the ground floor of their next awesome project -- which describes you exactly: on the ground floor of your next awesome project.

When you look at the others in the class, you will see success everywhere you turn. You will be surrounded by success and encouragement, which will be absolutely amazing, and some of the folks from the class you will keep in touch with for a good long time into the future.
